Good Morning Friends and Family!
We are preparing for a big weekend of farmers markets, family members competing in Hume Day Festival horse jousting, friends visiting from out-of-town, and our 2nd Sunday co-op meetup on September 12th!
This Saturday, we will be selling Rucker Farm poultry at the Warrenton Farmers Market as a guest vendor from 8am- 12pm! This is our first time expanding to a farmers market! I am getting hit with flashbacks of when my brother and I would trail along with our mom Heidi to The Archwood Green Barns market in The Plains, Va. She would sell her goat cheese while Bennett and I would get very bored and go play in the cat-tails and marshland out back and enjoy any and all free samples!
As a reminder, this Sundays discussion is on "Feeding Our Children" and will begin at 10am. Come on out a little earlier for a farm tour at 9:15am to see what we have going on! We have 4 new little pigs and a few new bottle-baby calves we'd love to introduce! Don't forget to bring any extra food goodies for the "abundance table"-- we have Phoenix Oyster Mushrooms to share this month!
Lastly, we will be having our "meet-up" as a pot-luck next month on Saturday, October 9th at 5pm. It'll hopefully be a nice change of pace for us all!
Have a wonderful weekend! We hope to see you!
